Bain & Savon- Facial Steam
An herbal facial steam treats all skin types by opening the pores, allowing the herbs’ special properties to treat oily, dry or mature skin. Many of the recommended herbs treat more than one type of skin, so this is ideal for people with combination skin.
+ clear pores of excess oil, dirt and bacteria; promote circulation, oxygenation and detoxification; and encourage moments of deep and relaxed breathing
+ add to warm bath for a relaxing and nourishing soak.
1) add small handful of herbs to bowl and cover with boiling water; allow to cool slightly and place towel over head to create steam tent.
2) breathe deeply and enjoy 5-15 minutes; take this time to completely clear the mind or set intentions and offer gratitude.
3) strain resulting tea to enhance your next bath.

1-BREATHE EASY FACIAL STEAM

+ Inhaling the sweet and soothing aroma of cardamom may help in treating sleep issues such as insomnia, restlessness, and anxiety.
+ Inhaling the aroma of rosemary might assist with congestion due to respiratory infections, allergies, colds, along with influenza.
+ Lavender is a gentle sedative and can help with anxiety, stress and insomnia.
+ star anise has been used to relieve coughs due to its expectorant qualities.
2-NOURISHING FACIAL STEAM
+ linden imparts a delicate sweetness and is traditionally used as a conditioning agent to calm parched skin.
+ lavender, chamomile and marigold blend to soothe the skin and relax the spirit.
+ used by ancient Greeks and Romans to perfume baths, rose petals have antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties ideal for skin ailments.
+ Comfrey leaves was historically used to treat a wide variety of ailments ranging from bronchial problems, acne and other skin conditions.
